Cutivate Ointment

Chemical Name: Fluticasone topical (floo-TIK-a-sone-TOP-i-kal)

Cutivate Ointment refers to a category of medications called steroids. This is used to manage skin disorders with swelling and scratching, such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. This relieves discomfort, swelling, redness, and scratching in a variety of skin issues. Topical fluticasone can also be used for uses not specified in this Guide to Medication.

Directions

-Follow the guidance on the drug label and consult the medical manuals or guidelines. Using this ointment just the way as you directed by your physician.

-Don't have it by hand. Topical treatment is to be used on the skin only.Clean your palms pre and post using topical fluticasone ointment, when you're using the drug on your palms to heal for the skin purpose.

-Apply a thin film of medication to the impacted skin and softly rub it in. Should not spread this drug over a wide skin region until your doctor asks you to.

Cautions

• Stinging and skin redness, itching and feeling of light headed.
• Swelling or skin pain.
