Rapaflo Capsule - Generic Equivalent (Silodosin)

Rapaflo capsule is a treatment for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. It treats the enlarged prostate gland and shrinks it by relaxing the bladder and prostate gland muscles. The drug is most effective in decreasing the BPH symptoms like the weak stream, frequent urination at night, difficulties of urine flow. Silodosin belongs to the ’Alpha Blockers’ group of drugs.

The Rapaflo capsule is an orally taking medication, usually taken by mouth. As per the general guidelines, you can consume one capsule daily; however, you are suggested to follow the physician’s instructions and methodology. You should take this capsule with meals, don’t take it without meals as it may suddenly drop blood pressure, and you might go through vertigo symptoms. Drinking one glass of plain cold water after every consumption is suggested. Do not take an overdose; please follow the doses given by your doctor. In addition, regular taking as per the doctor can give you the best result in a short period.

The drug has fewer side effects; however, it may turn into serious side effects in sudden cases. So, you should take some precautions, say informing the physician if you have a medical history such as liver ailment, any allergy with this drug, hypotension, kidney ailment, eye problems (glaucoma, cataracts). Alcohol or cannabis use isn’t recommended while taking this medication, as it makes you feel dizzier. Driving must be avoided while you are taking this medicine - at least initially.
